freddiemuney - it will give you a $1,000,000,000 each time. it works on my game but it only works on a few.
weaknesspays - get infinite money. type the code then highlight it and press CTRL and C together. Now hold ctrl press ENTER then V then ENTER then V etc. If u hold down the CTRL key and keep pressing V and ENTER WHILE holding CTRL your money will go up by 1000 each time u press V and ENTER.
moneyeo - This cheat will add $5,000,000 to your Treasury

Hints - Start out slow, making sure never to expand faster than the expected tax revenue growth. You're building a city, so slow and steady wins the race.

Look to develop neighbor deals early on. Specifically, make sure you have excess garbage capacity, then contract to handle another city's garbage. Sure, it's smelly, but it brings in much-needed income.

SimCity 2000 veterans should read the tutorial. There are enough subtle changes that invalidate some old strategies.
